so i was wondering if i could do one of the less aggressive paratheraps or vieja species that would go as a centerpiece in a 75g with some dwarf cichlids like sajica's, fliers cichlids, rainbow cichlids. etc.

Im sure you can. Alot of Vieja's are not super aggessive if they do not have a tank mate to challenge them. Of course, there is always that 1 that is just nasty.

Deff worth a try! I believe the Parath's are close to the same as far as temperment. I have never had any of this genus but again, I would also consider with what you're trying!

Go for it! Vieja/Paratheraps are the best looking cichlids imho. There are plenty of non aggro ones to choose from too. Take a look at nutty's new/old tank set up, might give you some ideas. All the fish you mentioned are too small to be any competition for the vieja/para so there's a high chance of it working.

you guys think a fenestratus would work?

good read, didnt know they were including all of those species in the paratheraps order

So whatcha going to get then?
