Switched to all live plants and for some reason, I am really proud of this tank. I like the look of it much better than my 125. This is not the final stocking though. This will be home to the Balzanii, guppies, and my red ceibal pair after everyone puts some size on.

suppose it is largely a question of personal taste, but I keep at least one flowerpot in each of my tanks as a "cave" for the fish . . .

since I don't really love the way it looks, I hide/disguise them with driftwood/plants, but the fish do seem to like them, especially when they want to lay eggs . . .

Looks good. I like the Sajicas too. I don't like the way they look but keep flower pots too. Thank god for java moss!

thanks for the nice words everyone. I can never take pics of this tank or the fish in that really show how beautiful it is.

long term I think the flower pot may go. I had a ton of species in there for a while and it was for shelter. There was actually 2 and I switched to one. Probably just get more rocks because I dont think they look very natural.
