matters. although not all the fish are fully grown/mature there has been no
fin nipping,,, the occasional chasing but no bully of the tank as of yet! heres a list

haha i didnt realize the flash was on so they all have spooky eyes.

The background looks like it came out pretty good and the pile of cave rocks looks a bit oddly placed but the fish seem to be enjoying the caves.

I'm assuming you were planning on an all male tank, correct?

Be prepared for some of the plants to be uprooted when they start moving the sand around the tank. I've not had any luck with planted Malawi tanks.

thanks,,, well the tanks been up and running for almost 7 months now so most of the plants are
well rooted. Plus they seem to leave the plants alone except for one so lately i have just been
letting it float.

Are you having any trouble maintaining a high ph with that driftwood ?

Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

no problem with ph at all... most likely b/c i boiled the crap out of it and
since i am on well water my parameters are basically liquid rock...
ph is so high even high ph tests are not high enough. since most basic
FW test kits are not good enough for the tests i usually send my water
out to be tested every year. so i usually just test for ammonia, nitrites and
nitrates.
