I got my school, where I am the science and social studies teacher, to buy my a 75gal tank as a science display. After considering what to put in it, I decided to go with a Taiwanese Stream Biotope as the kids all think fish from other countries are the only beauties out there.
The inhabitants will be:
small group 3-4 paradise fish
8-10 either zacco platypus or opsariichthys pachycephalus ( waiting to see which it is)
and 6 hillstream loaches (not sure of species yet but hoping they are hemimyzon formosanus
My science club have help to set it up, collect rocks and cut pipes. I am in the process of adding all the labels and information for the kids to read.
The left side under the OHF outlet.

The right side to cover the OHF intake.

Full tank shot right after placing in rocks.

We already have six paradise fish in their. I went with a group of six as I am hoping to get at least 1 male and 2 females from the group.
