So I went to one of my LFS and was going to buy dry base rock, but they had live rock on sale for $1.99/lbs. So I figured I'd get the live rock for 70cents more then the dry base stuff... so anyway... This is one of the little pieces I got, while looking at it and deciding where to place it it SPIT in my EYE!!!!!
So I thought okay maybe just a freak thing that when I took it out of the water the pressure difference between water and air made it close or whatever. Put it back in and pulled it out a little while later and it spit again.
Well today I looked at it again and its open, I poked it and it closed and then pulled its self closer to the rock its attached to so now I know its alive.
Any thoughts of what it is? Clam, barnicle, oyster?
