Was looking to run some air stones in my 625g in the back to move water -

this 8” disc came with what appears to be a 3/8” metal barb fitting -

i’ve got some fluval q2’s

the amazon pic looked as though it took the normal tubing....

anyone running these? pump ideas?

i suppose i can try to reduce this barb via tubing and plumbing bits...

ideas?

thanks all!

i have similar size air stone... normal tubing should fit... just need some force...

As for the pumps, i have the electromagnetic type, not idea if the tank is in the house due to the noise.... but powerful enough. However, it will still be subjected to the number of stones you run and the length of the air tubing

big air stone will need powerful pump. anyway i still use the pump but now i only use those small ball stones... simple and effective...
