8/3/2 steel stand

Would 8 uprights (4 front 4 back) of 2"x 1/4" angle steel(L shape) hold the tank as i can build this for only £120..
Probably not the best place to ask but someone may know, as im ordering the steel tommorow and i need to be certain it will do..

i think 4 uprights front an back would do the job, though I think square stock on the corners might be a better choice.

how many gallons? Is the whole frame going to be made out of the 2"x2" angle ?


I'm am thinking four legs would do it depending how the stand is built...

yes the frame all angle with mitre welds..

Went for 2x1 box steel 8 legs cross struts as well.

Siriusly thu, great stand, what is your tank set up glass? etc?

Will be 8/3/2 ray tank with over flow to wet and dry sump, havent decideed whether glass or acrylic.
Would like acrylic but its double the price..
