8.5 gallon terrarium

Hi everyone!

I have a cool 8.5 gallon terrarium. It has great ventilation, and it Is well suited for an insect species. Any ideas?

Might work for a praying mantis of some sort or any somewhat arid species of semiarboreal tarantula. Jumping spiders would also do reasonably well.

Sides are made of wood and it has built in vents.

Yeah. Way too small, though. Only grew to around an inch. I want a stick insect or spider, I don’t know what species.

if that was too small then definitely don’t go with a jumping spider. A colony of blue feigning beetles would be cool

well if you're looking for a stick insect the coolest IMO would be the Giant Prickly stick insect, but they grow pretty big and would probably eventually outgrow that terrarium.
