Regarding the Hemiodus - Beautiful fish. I had a group of 4 and after losing one am left with just 3, which grew from 2.5 inches over 2 years ago, to currently adult(ish) at 7.5 inches (photo attached). I have thought they are Hemiodus unimaculatus (northern SAmerica) but another possibility is H. orthonops (southeastern SAmerica) What do you call yours? Do you know where they came from? What did you purchase them as? Do you also feel they are the same as mine?
Many thanks! (I wish I could take them but I am on the East coast, and don't have space anyway...what a shame!). I have only twice seen them for sale - Once in Colombia, and once in NJ where I purchased the 4 they had.
