8 foot tank update

over the weekend i moved the last of the cichla into my 8 footer... so i now have 4 orinocensis, 6 monoculus 4 golden dorado 4 hoplarchus and a apurensis jellycat. really pleased with how its going.. the dorado have settled down now and are shoaling around together although the cichla dont like them too much! the tank is running with a large trickle filter and a large eheim 2260 bucket filter and i have another eheim bucket to put on in a few weeks time...

well so far so good... the cichla avoid the dorado but there's no nasty aggression like biting.. just a bit of gill flaring and aggressive posturing!! so far... although its only been a few weeks since i had the first cichla in with the dorado...

the tank dimensions are 96" long by 40"wide by 28" deep... with the filtration there's 400 gallons. here's a full tank shot before i put the fish in...

i'll get some more shots this week now that the fish have settled in...

It's an awesome tank... Just noticed you were in UK... who did you get to make the tank? Or bought it as such?
