ok i have been trying to get him off just clumps of just blood worms. I have tryed market shrimps no shell cut into small pieces.frozen krill arro sticks small with some blood worm and freeze dried river shrimp all he will take is blood worms . only thing that will take no problem is feeders wich i have not done in months.And dont want to. what else could i try any suggestions?

i had the same trouble before , if you want to feed sticks you need to eliminate the blood worms for a while and just feed a couple of sticks a day ,eventually it will have to eat ,dont worry it will not die of hunger.
I started feeding my silver aro bay scallops. I buy them frozen at he grocery store. At feeding time I take a few out, thaw them in hot water for a few minutes and my aro loves them. I also feed him frozen krill (thawed the same way) for variety. For a special treat I buy small African water frogs at my lfs and give him 3-4 to hunt down. I'd do it more frequently at $3 bucks a piece its a real fancy feast. Last bit of advice... get your aro good and hungry by not feeding at all for two or three days. best of luck.
