I love this fish to death, but it will only eat feeders (dead or alive) and shrimp. It'll eat a lot of feeders at a time, but only a couple pieces of shrimp and it's not an aggressive feeder by any means. It is getting way too skinny and I am unable to give it the special attention it deserves. I don't have any tanks that it can go in where it isn't outcompeted for most of the food. Price is highly negotiable. And I might be able to be convinced to ship. I wouldn't budge on the price if it was nice and plump, but it's not. And after losing my AT and NTT, I don't want to lose another dat. I was trying to build up my collection, but have suffered some losses. I love dats, but all of this has made me lose some interest in them. I would also consider a trade for a ray or gar, depending on species.

Aw man, that sucks that you have to get rid of him. How often do you feed him? Shrimp and feeders are the only things mine will eat as well.

I hope you find a good home for him.
 
$100 OBO...probably will sell for cheaper w/o much thought

I need to try and get it gone. I'd hate to see it perish because it won't eat much and won't eat pellets.
 
will trade for just about any ray around 6" disc

thanks, guys. my mom wants to buy my IT, so I'm going to be dat-less for a while until I feel like getting back into them :( def one of my favorite types of fish I've kept
