Got a beautiful 8" arro for a week now and still cant get him to eat anything but live rosies, and only then they have to practically swim right in his face. He seems healthy otherwise , swimming actively and alertly. Ive tried live crickets,silver backs and frozen blood worms so far. This is my first arro so any advice would be appreciated.

Hard to say really, maybe he is stressed a little. Where is your tank set up, is it getting allot of traffic, or any cats messing with him, I've had a cat annoy my Arro when he was small. Maybe also the Temp is to low, where is it at. And what are the tank mates if any, maybe they are freaking him out a little.
You could also try and leave a small light on at night, helped mine when it was young from getting spooked out. It helped out with keeping my Arro more relaxed and aware of his surroundings.
Ok there are a few Ideas, also its just been a week, I think he will need a little more time to get settled in.
