so i was on ksl i called a guy for an ad about an 8' tank and he gave me the dimensions 8'L X 18"W X 22"T it comes out to around 165 gallons
what kind of stock could i do with such a long tank?
i was thinking
1 pair escondido
1 female festae
1 male fenestratus
1 flag tail
1 jag or red tiger motag
1 cuban cichlid
6 silver dollars

yeah the only problem is i already have them so idk what to do

Hello, Ill put all pairs, for example, a carpinte pair, a pair of jag or motaguense, a pair of festae and the dollars, greetings for this tank

18" wide is really strange for 8', if u really want to do a pair go for smaller or less aggressive cichlids than carpinte, i would definitely go for a rtm over a jag

yeah im thinking maybe ill just get rid of the females, its not that i want to them i just dont really want to get rid of them my dad loves them to death. but i might just keep the male and add another cichlid of something idk

thats one weird shaped tank.

Never seen one that long and skinny either. Essentially a 125 but two foot longer.
Like stated above, stay away from pairs as they will totally disrupt the community.
