would have to be a smaller tank if u don't want to modify it much. the design doesn't allow for diagonal support so it has a much higher potential to flop over. cool idea though.

I just looked through the catalogue and I'd have to say that the only limitation would be the cost. That's a VERY strong structure. Available diagonal bracing and up to quad strength main supports. You could easilly hold a 1000 gallon tank. I can't see that bieng a cost effective alternitive to wood however. but damn...what a fish room...
