So I have set up an 80 gallon rimless planted tank for my mother to enjoy. It's 4x2x16 and has dwarf sag and duckweed to help with jumpers.... I don't know what to stock it with but need to find fish that don't tend to jump that often

What would u guys stock it with?

Get a large group of schooling fish such as neon tetras or Galaxy Rasboas

I'd go with angelfish too, or as homer says; just a large shoal of something like neons.

Can anyone verify if neons are prone to jumping though? Ive only kept them in tanks with covers...

Any school of small fish like tetras you'll always have jumpers, and with an open top tank you'll slowly see their numbers decline... Happened with my old 75 gallon planted tank when it was an open top tank, my Bloodfin Tetras always seemed to have 1 jumper a week... That's when I went to a glass company to cut me a piece of glass that was 48"x6" that covered the back portion of the open top and sure enough it stopped the jumpers.
