Greetings
friends, and good night.

I’m planning on making a new tank (well, have someone build it for
me haha), I'm thinking 200 long, 70 wide and 60 high, talking in centimeters
(800 liters more or less, if you have better measures, I will definitely take
them into consideration) The fish I’m thinking stocking the tank with are the
following: Vieja argentea, a Nicaraguan cichild, a polleni and a quetzal.. Also
add a Vieja regani and a temporalis. Around 8 fish for the whole
project.

I have
several questions and was wondering if you guys can help me
out.

The first is:
What thickness of glass would be the most convenient?

The second question
is: I guess will have to add a sump, but do you guys feel I will need to maybe
get a canister as well, I want to have the best filtration possible for the
tank

The third
question is: What will be the best way to get a black background for it?

And my last question
is: What do you guys think of my cichild mix? Do you think the fish I have
chosen will be OK with a tank that size or am I adding too
much?

Thanks in
advance for the attention.. This project is planned for November or so. So there
is still time.

P. S. I
would really like to know your individual experience and thoughts about my tank
project. All feedback will definitely be considered.

Thank you. Ricardo. ;)

you should probably post all but the last question in the DIY or setups/filtration section. i actually am stumped on any build questions when it comes to glass thickness etc. your fish list is fine but make sure you try and grow them out together and give the chocolate an advantage at the start, he should be a few sizes bigger than the others in the beginning otherwise he will not make it. dont get me wrong they are no pushovers but against viejas and Madagascans he is going to have a tough time
