8000 gal Shark Tank Build

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't know if anyone point this out, but all of your plumbing is too straight, your valves are on the right sides of the unions to be functional, and it looks like it will work the first time.

I'm not sure shark tanks should be made to such perfection right off the bat.

:D

Glad to see you are still in it!! Looks awesome.

can you give dimensions? that tank looks pretty wide front to back. nice build

Just a rough shot in the dark - but if you assume it's an 8' ceiling in the pic, that gives you about 6' in depth. The front looks to be about double the height, so say 12'. The front to back also looks longer than the width, so rough guess it at 14'. 6x12x14 would give you roughly 8,000 gallons (give or take).

Looking fwd to seeing this done. What are the future inhabitants?

I saw the size, who was posting it, and new it would be a good build. I'm looking forward to seeing more pics as this progresses. Is the front window based off of a 4x8 or 5x10 sheet?
