84Gal & 149Gal stocking help

so i have a new tank comming for my birthday and i have a currently empty tank im going to repair both of which im searching for ideas on stocking

the new tank comming next month is 60Lx18Wx18D inches, 319L or 84 US gallons

the tank im repairing is 48Lx20Wx36D (inch), 566L or 149 US gallons (3ft tall tank!)

im currently keeping apistogramma and other small cichlids in 3ft, 30inch and 18 inch tanks

the 5ft tank will be the first thing you see when you walk in the front door so i want it to be a wicked display the 566L 4fter will be in the same room so again i wanna keep something interesting in it

idea's!

the tanks are 1-2months off setup

i dont mind keeping a finicky micro system or tankbusters/oddballs

if you want a fantastic display go with some discus

discus are astounding in a planted tank!

cant stand clown loaches, discus were a possibility that my mrs was keen on so may go that rout i was however looking at birchirs and ctenopoma maby with a school of congo tetras

i like the look of frontosa but iv herd they dont move or do much of anything

frontosas and bichirs together will also be a good combo.
