85 gl Oscar tank

I have a 3" tiger oscar in an 85 gl tank. My friend has a Sengal bichir in a 40 and he wants to rehome him in tank. I've also been thinking of adding a rubber lip pleco. My question is will this work? My filter is a filstar XP3. Thank you.

the one thing you need to be aware of is r/l plecos max out at about 4in....snack size as oscar gets bigger ....but they could be ok

Yeah, just keep an eye on the other guys as the Oscar grows. Should be fine for at least a year, but as he starts to get big he might threaten his tankmates. They should cause no problems for him, however.
