8bar frontosa?

i went down to a lfs called the fish gallery. they have this awesome living room type set up with a 5000 gallon fish tank in the wall. awesome fish and colors, then i noticed a frontosa with 8bars. ive heard of 6bar and 7bar frontosa, but never 8. anyone wanna chime in on this?

It is probbably just a genetic defect. I have found many frontosa with wierd stripeing on them. I have seem some with 6 bars on one side and 7 on the other. I have also seen split bars, or one with the bars being pretty blochty.

That tank is sweet though.

Not really. I paid the same price for my 7 Stripe Moba as a normal one that was available. I chose the7 bar because of the oddity in the stripe. Makes him unique =-)
