I need some of your expert opinions please.

I'm upgrading my 180g to a 360g (8'x2.5x2.5), it's too big to fit in the house so i will be putting it in the garage.
The garage is tiled and just by looking at it i know the surface is very uneven.
I got the cabinet the other day and now have it leveled, it was out by 24mm.

I've currently got steel sheets (4mm each) sitting undernealth the pillars to get it even, didnt use wood sheets because i was worried that water might get into them and weaken it.

Has anyone else on here with a big tank done this to level out the tank and will it be ok in the long run?, just looking at the difference is scary and having a tank that size sitting on support is making me lose sleep.....

Yep. As long as your stand is level, you are good to go.

any if there is any gap under a vertical support from raising the unleveled side be sure to put something under it to.

I like the use of metal shims as well, for some reason those little wood ones don't seem to strong under a few tons. As long as stand and tank are level, you'll be ok

as longs as its not too uneven
hell my gar tank is still slightly uneven. its fine
