8x10 pond liner...math help

Will this liner be large enough for a 5x5x2 pond? I will need at least 2 inches extra on top for stapling it around the top.

No if your pond has 90 degree corners at each side. The 8' length would be to short, 2' down, 5' across, 2' up is 9' total.

thanks, im not good with equations like that. what if I did it 5x4x2

Nope. 8x10 is a small liner. If you want 2' tall you are limited to about 5.5x3.5 internal dimensions. This only gives you a few inches to staple to as well. If you did 5x3x2 it would give you more leeway.

Once I make the walls, how do I connect the walls together, do I use brackets?

I used screws and brackets, mostly screws. I added extra boards in the corners so I would have flat full surfaces to secure lots of screws into.

Ok thanks. I wanted to add a window but I couldn't find a thread that definitively showed how you could add a window using a liner. It would have to be cut and resealed.

It can be done, a few people here have done it. I just didn't want to add to the cost and such. Also it just gives you one more spot that can leak.
