8x2x2 vs 5x3x2

Tell me your opinions...
idea are for arowana, rays and bass

What tank size would u prefer, a 8x2x2 or a 5x3x2

Not to be snarky but I don't think either one is big enough but width is better for rays from what I read here

8ft for sure but need to be wider as celebrit mentioned. Unless a grow out tank.

For a grow out I wouldn't waste space in the house on an 8ft tank. The 5ft is more then enough. And with a 3ft width you will see very different behavior with the fish when small

Its a close call for me since they are close in area space..... if the tank will be placed in the middle of a room i vote for 5x3.... if against a wall i vote 8x2
