hey everyone

i recently recived a new 8x2x2 feet tank and am looking to put some bigger agressive fish in it. i have never had any agressive fish exept smaller cichlids which i had for 2 years and had to give them away because of a overseas holday.. i have no idea on fish but i would like something a bit bigger and active or a small group of agreesive fish. any ideas would be great

thanks

Aggressive or Hungry? Or both?

um looking for like medium size probly like 3 or 4 or 5 like eat live food active good to watch ..i havent set up the tank yet because i dont know what to set it up for ..i looked at 2 flowerhorns and peacock bass but i think the tanks to small for the peacock bass , ..i dont know many types of fish just looking for ideas

i rekon leichhardt, salmon tail catz, bass, and more!!!!

You should have got it 2 more feet wide. Umm, I'm thinking Oscars, texas's, Flower horns, and pleco's.... That's about it. Also maybe eel tailed cats or some bass like amehel0 stated.

the tank was free from my uncle so i couldnt really get it 2 more feet wide...i dont really want oscars..how many flowerhorns could be kept together?..ive seen salmon tail cats but i though they would grow too big? same with eel tails?

ok i dont want flowerhorns after researching them...and everything ive looked at says samon and ell tail catfish can grow up to 60 cms and would b to big for my tank...

any ideas on a group of medium size fish that are very active and maybe some bottom feeders that will be the right size for my tank??

Get 7 Frontosa. They are good size fish, interesting to watch, and very nice looking. That tank would be great for a full size colony. They might breed too, then you can sell the fry!!
