Hi all,
I'm looking at doing a relatively small (8ft x 3ft x 3ft) cold water tank for the garage which will actually be more like an indoor pond. I don't want to go down the avenue of fiberglass. So how do I make an 8ft long plywood side stop bowing under the pressure of the water inside? Would 2 simple 2x4 struts at the top prevent this? I want to line the inside with a pond liner so that in the event of us moving house I can basically flat pack the whole thing and move it without the cost of building a new tank or the difficulty of transporting and/or storing a rigid one. Do you think this is going to be possible before I make a start?
Regards,
Fordy
