in my 72gal BF discus (15 juvies) bare bottom no plant tank API master test kit
pH = 6.6
AM = .125 (between 0 & .25) used to be consistenly 0
NI = 0
NA = 2.5 (was consistenly 0 since 8/02, 5 prior to that)
1wk since I did major (80%) w/c & massive scrubbing of algae/diatom bloom & the white cloudy film on the glass & bottom.
otherwise daily w/c had been 20-30%
doing 75% w/c now, will test again after w/c
are these results ok or should I be worried?
also, in another post I had asked if anyone had a clue on some white splotching in one discus tail fin, one in dorsal fin, one in caudal fin. doesn't look like Ick (not spotted dotted salt like) & fins are not rotting. these splotches are in their capillary/blood vessels. wondering if parasitic or bacterial. pics not very good to see since they are faint but still noticeable.
