Unfortunately, I need to part ways with my male umbee. Im getting out of the fish keeping hobby for a little while to focus more on the mustang in my avatar. Money is tight, im a college kid, and cant afford to keep both hobbies going at the moment. I know Ill regret getting rid of him, but I want to make sure I can give him a good home.

Im looking to get $250 OBO. Im not going to give him away, as I have a 125 gallon ready he could grow in for quite sometime.

I would rather the fish be picked-up but we can discuss the possibility of shipping, as I have never shipped a fish before and would need some coaching.

Heres a shot of him from a few weeks ago, he still looks great and has bulked up quite a bit since this shot.

Thanks!

Bro they will close your thread with out a starting price. Nice fish..

You may wanna lower the price a bit. There are some wild caught ones around 7-8in range and are $150.

Yeah thats why I initially didnt put a price in my thread, I didnt really know what he was worth so I just put OBO in there.

Do you know if he is bred from wild caught (F1)? I say anywhere from 85 to 100 would be pretty good. Plus the shipping if you are going to ship. Goodluck! You sure you dont want to keep him? Those are hard to get. I pmed a friend of mine about this he might be interested.

MODS DELETE, no longer for sale and its not letting me edit my post.

Ive decided to go ahead and keep the fish and move him to the 125gallon. I apologize for wasting everyone's time, hopefully you understand. I walked in the door a few minutes ago with every intention of selling him but as I passed his tank, I just couldnt do it. Sorry!

hey r u sure your not trying to sell him? Im not worried about the 250 asking price. I recently just lost a umbee a little bit smaller and have been looking to find another to replace him.
