9 Inch Umbee

This is my 9 inch Umbee i have this fish for about a year he is in a 180 with a pleco since tankmates arent welcome and the pleco gets harassed sometimes. I am hoping for a male but im still not 100% sure if it is a male. Im probably gonna vent the fish to be sure. Let me know what you guys think

Thanks guys this is my favorite fish. I feed him Krill Market shrimp bloddworm and cichlid sticks.

I bought a ton from hung ming BUT this guys was brought into a store in san mateo for beating up other fish when he was about 2 inches. But he was in a tank with much larger fish and was getting his but kicked so i got him for about 5 bucks i think something dirt cheap since he was kind of beatin up.

I have 2 other umbees im growning out incase its a female but if i can get a pair that would be great but i think id need a bigger tank then a 180 to breed them I got a 240 next to this tank so its always a possibility but ill need a male first
