So I'm searching the web for a good deal on a 90 gallon long and I have a couple ideas for fish which are the African pike or a red tail barracuda which ever comes first, but before I make the purchase I would like some ideas on to what other options I have ......I'm looking for a predatory fish that will grow to a decent size in a 90 gallon without having to upgrade, I already have 10 rbp in a 125 so they are a no go. Any suggestions will be much appreciated

texas cichlid, or a green texas or red texas cichlid (neither of which are actually texas cichlids). a pair of severums, a bunch of longear sunfish...

From what I've researched, the freshwater barracuda should be fine in a 90 gallon (red tail being slightly smaller that the yellow tail). I think the african pike will eventually outgrow the dimensions of a 90 gallon though. I recently purchased 2 and I'm growing them in a 40 gallon until they're big enough to transfer to my 180.

Another completely different idea for the 90 though: 3-4 Gulper catfish. Talk about a monster!

Ok so have settled on the yellow tail barracuda how many of them would be suitable for a 90 gallon
and would I be able to mix other fish in as well..
