90 gal Hmmmm

What would you put in your 90gal .. of the 2 choices that is..

Male Red Devil or Male Jag ??

Which would you get ?

Well I was told that a single specimen can stay in a 90gal for life.

90 is fine you will need to make big wc regular basis, i would go devil as the jag may need bigger tank not sure. i have a trimac in a 90 that dos great

I also have a 110gal which I was going to house my Haitiensis . The only difference is the highth. Would you put the jag in the 110ga instead ? I will be getting my 6 foot tank.. just not this year.. Have to get the fishroom done first. So it will have a bigger home , just not right now.

I would go with the RD for sure.As a single specimen it will be more interesting.imo

Both would be beautiful fish and I have kept both but my red devil had much more personality and was more active than either of the jags I have kept.

It is however really cool to watch jags eat. I liked to dump ghost shrimp in the tank and watch. My jag would stalk one, creeping up behind and then engulf it. Very cool.

i would say red devil for a 90g. a male jag could live in a 90g for a while but they will eventually need a 6ft tank to swim freely. ime red devils have had the same aggression level and attitude of a managuense and it should be fine in a 90,

If i had to choose i would go with the red devil.
