Ok I have a 90Gal set up and it's just waiting on the filtration. At first I was thinking a big Can. and a Wet/Dry. But with the overflow, powerhead and extra acrylic that would probably go over $100.

I'm trying to keep the second filtration to $100 and want the most bang for my buck. I know this is hard. So now I'm re-thinking things. I already ordered one Rena XP3 (380Gph). But what would you guys choose to boost the turn over on the 90 to 5x? :uhoh:

a. Dual Rena XP3s? = (760Gph)
b. Single Rena XP3 & Emp 400? = (780Gph)
C. Single Rena XP3 & other (and recomendations?) = ?

Three fish are going into the 90
1. Datnoid 8"
2. Nandus Nandus 5"
3. Bichir 10"

Go with 2Penguin 660 powerheads and an ac110

i like your B. option personally, you have a great canister, and a great powerfilter, which is a awesome combo, i would highly reccomend that for your tank

forget the big cannister and do the wet dry i ran a wet dry alone on my 90 and had no problems

Ok looks like the AC110 is winning. I also like the powerhead option to kick up the poop. So it gets into the filter. I called Petsmart and of course they dont have the Penguin 660 (170gph).

They do have a Penguin 1140 (300Gph) would one or two of these be prefered? I dont want the poor fish to think their in a amazon river (too much flow), but a nice flow would be great.
