what are some suggestions for stock in a 90 gallon brackish water tank? I want to put a fw moray because theyre better in brack water. and how much salt should i put in? Ive herd 1 tbs for every five gallons and 2 tbs. which one?

I use a salinity meter (hydrometer) and keep mine between 1.006 and 1.016. Just be sure not to fluctuate it to fast. snowflake eel will be fine in that tank just have a cave for him to hide in and no small tankmates. A toadfish would be good companion or med to large archerfish.

alright thanks. do you think these are easier than freshwater tanks? and what do you think about puffers?

Not any harder, just have to keep your salinity adjusted correctly, be sure to pre-mix/dilute all salt that goes in the tank while fish are in it. I haven't tried puffers as i hear they are fin-nippers, since my eels are mainly fin i don't think that would go well- lol.
Look into archer fish (youtube), they are next on my list- seem like a pretty neat fish. or violet gobies, mono's, scats. The biggest fish my eel has eaten was 2 6 inch needlenose. They are Predators always.

lol. alright thanks. ill probly look into archers and maybe needlefish

thanks for the advice. first brackish tank. lol, ive tried salt but a sponge screwed my tank up. never found out how. just clouded water up and everything was dead. not doin that for this tank

yup- good luck - let's see some pics when its ready -

Archers can make good tankmates as long as they are big. Also, I personally don't like the puffer suggestion due to puffers being nippy and that morays can get serious health issues if the skin is damaged. As for the needlefish, if you're referring to Xenentodon cancila, I don't think they should be in tanks in the higher end of brackish water that the moray would need
