90 gallon CA tank journal

i have this beautiful 90 gallon tank just waiting to be "set-upped" to house some form of CA cichlid (leaning towards either one monster red devil/midas, a community of firemouths, or one flowerhorn.

planning on a simple, natural layout: sand for substrate, a couple nice manzanita driftwoods, large n small river rocks, tall plants for some color and a dark blue Walmart cloth as the background.

so far i have just the tank and driftwoods... to be continued...

FINALLY got the stand! a member hooked it up, very solid piece, no cheap MDF stuff which was my main concern and in very good condition.

so here's a photo of the tank + stand + dark midnight blue fabric from walmart.

still on the "to get list" is:

• sand (i was going to get 3m colorquartz but i might just settle for some good 'ol pool filter sand since my pockets aren't deep atm),
• river rocks, and
• waiting on the driftwood to arrive.
