i got a 90 gallon tank the other day its standard size any way im looking at an aquaclear 110 power filter is this a good filter? i would assume its enough filtration for my 90 since its made for a 110 gallon. let me know what you think

The ac 110 is a very good filter,I have one that is atleast 10 years old & still kicking.

Is it enough, that depends on your stock level.

A single AQ 110 would be IMO inadiquate for a normally stocked 90 gallon tank let alone a heavilly stocked one. Two 110's is getting a bit closer to reality. For comparison I'll list the filtration on our 100 gallon lightly stocked tank.
1 Fluval 405 cannister in a cross flow arangment.
1 Emporer 400
1 Emporer 280
2 air driven Hydro 5 foam filters in stacked arrangment.

would it be good enough to get it cycled and start to stock the tank then upgrade in a couple months?

I don't see why not as long as you keep the bio load down. The AQ's might not be the best bio filters around or the most efficant but they are very cost effective and built like a tank.
