I just built a 90 gallon tank (40 x 26 x 20). What should I stock it with? I need fish that will live in this tank for life.

Footprint/Dimensions? Length x Width x Height?

I like predatory fish. Im trying to avoid cichlids because i've owned mosly all species. Im running 2 rena xp4s with powerheads.

with that kind of width i'd consider a jaguar catfish or maybe some bichirs, but that's just me i keep it simple :P

I like catfish and bichirs but I figured they would get to big. The only thing I decided on is eels.

i think jag catfish only get like 8" (correct me if im wrong) and senegal bichirs usually only reach 8-12" and delhezi's like 14-18" i think and ur tank is 26" wide so i dont think bichirs would be a problem, should go well with eels as well

the boxy lay-out would be nice for some Poly's. I have sens and an ornate with my tire track eel and everyone plays very well. a 90 should be okay for a few Sens full grown. mine slowed down at the 6" mark. what they lack in color they make up for with personality/activeness.

Besides pollys and eels I cant seem to find any "non-dainey" fish. Alot of fish I love ( Dats, arowana, pike, barracuda etc) all get to big.

u can do 2 polypterus delhezi 1 polypterus senegalus and a suncatfish.
