Hi All, my B-day is coming up, and I was able to convince my mom into getting me a 90 gallon long tank. The dementions are 48in. by 18n. by 25in. My question for the freshwater keepers is: What kinds of fish would you place in here? For the saltwater keepers is: What kinds of fish would you place into here?

P.S. For the freshwater I would like Birchers and for the saltwater I would like Eels.

eels (I assume you mean morays) are my favorite option for saltwater, too.
But, you have the issue to consider being the adult size of these, and many will be too large for the tank. What species do you like?

So many diff ways to go w/ a 90gal,..what do you like?
I think if i had a new 90gal, I would get a fairly large shoal
of Exodons,..allways wanted some of those,..

I would probably get a Delhezi Bichir and maybe a Senegal as well. Id probably accompany them with a small shoal of Redhooks and a couple mid-sized american cichlids that are fairly docile. Severums, Salvini, Cons, Firemouths etc

i always liked the odd ball fish myself, but ive found myself head over heels for my sa and ca cichlids. i agree with a could bichirs, and a few smaller cichlids.

my 90 i have now is filled with 1 midas, 3 tinfoils, a pair of convicts, a 4 lined pim and a albino channel cat. my jag just got moved out do to the agression of the midas. but im upgrading soon to something over 300. so ill be in the same boat, filling my 90 again
