OK, I just setup a 90 gallon and have planted it with Amazon Sword, Red Melon Sword, and Dwarf Sag. I Have some Java Fern on the way as well to put in the terra cotta pots and driftwood that are also in the tank. Now I am trying to figure out how to stock it while my plants take root. I have several different ideas but not sure what would be best. I know that some of my choices are probably not the best with plants, but have seen some make it work. I also have a 55 gallon with live bearers so I am wanting to have some larger fish in the 90.

Option 1:
1 Oscar
1 Severum
2 Firemouth
2 Tomasi Pleco
6 Pictus Cats

Option 2:
1 Severum
2 Firemouth
4-6 Angels
2 Tomasi Pleco
6 Pictus Cats

Option 3:
4-6 Angels
4-6 Bolivian Rams
15-20 bleeding heart or lemon tetras

I am also open to suggestions on how to stock the tank.

Well you would be overstocked for all of the choices. I would do option three with only the angels and a black ghost knife fish. The tetras would just become expensive feeders. also with the live-bearer tank you can use the offspring as feeders and enjoy the angels and BGK hunt.

I will have to look more into the BGK. From just a quick glance I see they get quite large would they be OK to keep in a 90 gallon for the long term? I currently don't have any room for a tank larger than 90 :( . Could I add a bristlenose pleco or 2 or any more bottom dwellers or would that be asking for trouble?
