90 Gallon stock list?

Hello

How does this sound for a 90 gallon.

1- Oscar
1- Platydoras costatus
1- Cichlasoma salvini

I know this would leave me a little overstocked but would this work long term?

I wouldnt trust a Salvini with a Oscar in such a small space...Salvinis are crazy.

Someone I know did that almost exact combo in a 75 gallon (used a spotted raph instead of a striped). It worked for a while, but eventually the sal had to be removed though.

The raphael will be fine he will most likely hide and they are pretty tough too, honestly I may get flammed for this but sometimes a few more fish the less they fight. lol Maybe find something that can keep the salvini busy, oscars are peaceful giants, they mind their own unless it can fit in their mouth for the most part. Might want to try a nice size senegal bichir for a little variety, they mind their own and most ca fish seem to ignore them and fight with each other instead of bothering the poly. Maybe even a pike cichlid one that stays smaller of course, but you should be alright with what you want.

So would one Oscar and one senegal bichir be OK in a 90 gallon just the two of them? And I would like to show a fish like that what are the more popular color forms? and there potential size?

senegal would prolly be fine as most cichlid ignore them however you will have to make sure that the bichir is AT LEAST as long as the O, preferably bigger as the O will eat it if it is smaller, Os can get to 16in and the colors that i really like are the tiger Oscars and albino tiger oscars though there are red and i think another morph as well

DO NOT get blueberry O if you see one as these are poor fish that have been dyed

Wow after looking up there potential size, would it maybe better just to go with two larger Clown loach? as i read they can get along well with oscars?

whose potential size the O or the senegal? the senegal only gets 12in so i think it would be fine in that tank with the O and yeah pretty much anything thats laid back and too big to fit in the Os mouth will do fine with it, IME Os arent really aggressive just hungry lol if its too big they will leave it alone
