I have an 8" red devil that I will be moving into a 90 gallon in the next week. He has been pretty rough with pretty much anything. He currently is in a 55 gallon. I tried putting a couple 3-4" convicts with him... Beat em up! Plecos... Beat em up! Any chance in this 90 of any other roomies?... I'm guessing this guys is a solo fish. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

I wouldn't try to house anything with him unless it was in a 6ft. tank. They seem to be more tolerant of tankmates in a 125 or bigger. That is unless the tankmates are another large territorial fish.

Don't do it. 90G is perfect for just 1 RD. anything else will be fish food or punching bag.

Punching bag sounds about right. Don't know if he is a pure devil or not. I doubt it. One thing I do know is he is big and mean. You are all probably very right. Just wanted a few other opinions. When he was in my 125 for awhile there he was doing pretty well with a bunch of salvini but then was moved to his own tank. Thanks for the info!
