90 GALLON?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i have the same tank and unfortunately no it is not big enough. shoulve gotten the 6x2.5x2 and you couldve had one.

I was doing some reasearch and found out that the teacup ray only gets about 7" diameter - would that work or not.

there is no such species as a teacup ray, that name is just used for a baby ray, (under 4 inches I think) of various species. Im going to have to say that a 90 gallon is just too small. You want to find a tank that is long and wide, not tall. Height doesn't really matter that much in a ray tank, its all about the floor space.

You can get any ray you want as long as you upgrade.

I started with the same tank for 3 months while my new one was getting built. I wouldn't recommend it due to doing 15 to 20 percent water changes every day at the end,and the motoro was still only about 6 inches.

No.

None.

Never.

7" Teacup? You need a new source of info... Read this forum for a few weeks before you waste your money..

a 180 is not big enough for most rays... you could either build a pond or buy a rubbermaid 300 gallon stock tank.. that's the cheapest best way to house rays
