is this too small for a pair of dwarf snakeheads?? undecided on what species at the moment thats if this is ok

You may be able to get away with it.
My sp. assams fought in the beginning, but ended up getting along very well.

Yeah well i was going to pick up a few and see if they pair off and just keep the pair in the tank, they max out at around 6 inchs dont they so they should have plenty of room, its pretty much the same thing with the 4 stewarti cf barca i have there in a 180litre tank and get to around 12 inchs the tank is just over a meter long

I had 5 harcourtbutleri's in a 75g (280l) and they fought a lot. All the fish were 4-5". Lots of driftwood and plants in the tank, but as soon as one swam by another it was on.
Your cf. barcas will need a bigger tank down the road.
My sp. assams were very tame, so you might be able to pull it off.

Good luck
