OMG!!!! I finally got SCAMMEDD!!! Mr. Lander if it is his name was a really nice guy, guess you really cant judge a book by its cover!
Anyways i met-up and bought his 90g tube tank Thursday night, we met halfway at a fresh and easy parking lot, he was more than willing to meet. Asked him if there are any leaks or cracks? of course not he said, "I only sell quality stuff man, It was a running tank just 2 months ago".
The tank had more scratches than i had expected from looking at his picture, but it was fine i can sand it, felt obligated to buy it anyways for his trouble. He said it came with lights but cannot find it. It also came with a leaky 29g setup which i did not care for. I really wanted the light fixtures for a reef setup, so we agreed $60 was fair for no lights. Cool guy, I shook his hands and thanked him.,
I filled that tank up this AM just to make sure and I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES!!!!! There is a mucken waterfall coming out of the front of the tank!! pics below!
I can't believe somebody would lie about a condition of a tank for $60???? Just noticed he joined the forum in September this last month. and just logged in last night, so hes still around.
Left him a nice little message this morning ( if you are smart, you will call back Mr. Lander)....Its not even the matter of the $ it really is the principal. this time i spent writing this up and warning other members it worth more than that
