I plan on raising juvenile discus in the tank. But I have to ask about my water tests.

GH - 0
KH - 12
Ph - 8.2

everything else is 0.

How can I lower the KH and PH?

Are these your water parameters out of the tap or after the water has settled for 24 hours? Sometimes parameters change once the new tap water off-gases any CO2. If you haven't already done so, check to see what the parameters are on your aged water. Sit a cup out on the counter for 24 hours then check it again.

After 24 hours.
what ive used all these years for ph is API ph buffer. 7.0 i dont think kh would be much of a problem.

ill let you in on a lttle tip for discus. in my experience with them the best thing is consistency. change water often and make sure there are no temperature drops(CONSISTENT).

Before or after aging, doesn't matter. co2-related ph swings don't affect the fish. Your GH is 0, that means your have very soft water. The KH is not your hardness, this is your buffering capacity. That means you have a very good buffering capacity, and no matter what you do to try and change your ph, the kh will bring it right back up to the 8s. I say, leave it alone, and acclimate your fish to that water.

I'm raising juvies in 7.8 PH water now. But it's PH stability that's most important.............

ph 6.4. what are you saying? I have wilds in 7.6 and they are doing great going on 9 months. domestics are kept and bred in ph as high as 8.6. add a bunch of crap and chase your ph and you will have more problems than just leaving it alone.
