This is a new 90 gallon I set up recently, replacing a 75 for display purposes, I have other possible uses for that 75. In this 90 is a Paratilapia polleni that was the aquariums's first inhabitant about a month ago. I also put in 6 Caquetaia spectabilis I bought from Jeff Rapps last week. So far the fish get along fine (for cichlids), there is only very brief and minor chasing. They actually chased each other more in this video than they normally do. I think that's because they saw me standing by the aquarium and they all came to the front glass expecting food. Right now they're in the 3.5 to 4 inch range, with the polleni being a little bit larger, but not a whole lot.
These fish all get fairly large, so I can't keep them together in this 90 forever, but it should be a fun tank to watch through the winter and maybe into the spring. Maybe by then I'll get a pair, then I'll have to find new homes for the rest of them.
This is my very first video posted, I used my camera, a Kodak EasyShare C330, I don't have a dedicated digital camcorder. It is a bit dark, it's hard to see the spots on the polleni. But you can check out my newest aquarium and fish to get a feel for what's going on in there.
