90Gallon - 1 monster

Hello all,

I have recently got a 90 gallon tank (48"x18"x24") filtered by a trickle filter. Previously I had wanted snakeheads but didnt have the tank size, but now I feel I could possibly give them the room they deserve.
So I'm here to ask, which would be the best snakehead for this tank. I am after 1 fish, that would be a good show fish. Be reasonably active and interesting to watch.
I like the look of Channa asiatica, but don't know if it would be suitable for this tank.

Thats fine for Channa asiatica.


They are a small SH get to about 30cm/12" have not seen a lot of them for sale though.

you might get hold off Channa punctata though

I had two asiaticas, but the male killed his girl after 2 weeks...
Beautifull channa, but a little bit too agressive to his kind...

i gave mine asiatica to my dad at 8inch month or 2 ago and it hid in plants all time but its out in the open at his not very active at all
