911 Need help for Black Shark

When I turned on the lights this morning the 10" black shark in the tank was swimming upside down and hardly moving. He jumped up two days ago and sliced is lip on the cover. And his eyes have a glazed over foggy appearance. I pulled him out and put him in a ten gallon with water from that tank and added an air stone. Put in some extra aquarium salt. We added some melafix also.

What else can I do or add to the water to help him?

He seems to be doing better in the small tank. raising the temp. Any ideas?

What are your water parameters, including temp in the main tank and the temp you raised the hospital tank to? How are the other fish in the tank doing?

It's possible that the sliced lip allowed for a bacterial infection.

Thought he was going to make it. But then he died. My daughters boyfriend had him 7 years.

I guess they are endangered over fished in asia. But she found some online and ordered a replacement.
