I originally made this stand for half of a 480g, but tank seller decided to play tricks so i'm left with this stand -___- . (pm me if u want more info on this)

the left and right side is painted glossy black.
solid plywood bracing, and 2x4 and 4x4

there is a little part of the top of the stand that was cutout for the overflow, but does not affect the structure , and you wouldn't see it anyway if you put a tank over it that doesn't need that overflow hole.

I saw this on CL I'm actually in the process of building a stand for a 1000 gallon tank I just picked up its 8' x 4' x 51 " (LxWxH) and I got a 8' x 2' stand on my 360 gallon that I'm planning to sell tank plus stand for $100 more or tank only for $100 less. Too bad my stand isn't as high as yours or I'd seriously consider buying to save time.

^ haha , ya, not too many stand are this high, and I personally didn't want it this high, but I had to build this to match the other half ...

anyway, guys, i still have this. should fit a standard 240g pretty well too. BUMP
