Looking to move onto something else, so I figured I'd toss this up here.
The car is a 1998 VW GTI VR6 with somewhere in the neighborhood of 101,000 miles. How many Ginster yellow JTIs do you see running around? The clutch was replaced about 10k miles ago, and the tires have less then 2k miles on them. Car runs and drives great...a total treat for whoever the new owner is. Mods, again, are straight forward and were aimed to transform the car to how I feel it should have come from the factory. These include:
-FK coils
-Big brake kit up front
-Stainless steel brake lines all around
-Magnaflow catback
-Neuspeed chip
-ABT upper strut brace
-IPOD interface
-rear wiper delete
The car needs some TLC and is sure to please. There are a few things that need attention that are worth noting: chains are getting a little on the loud side and should be attended to in the next couple thousand miles, water pump is leaking a little bit of coolant intermittently, and front pads and rotors are showing their wear and should be changed in the next couple thousand miles. Rear rotors and pads are brand new.
