Ok I have a co-worker who has a never been used full set up 125g w/black wood stand and trimmed in black. Has never had water or fish in it. She states that her and her Husband paid $6000.00 for it all. She originally asked for $3000.00 and now she say's he is willing to drop the price to $2000.00 and take payment's. I know that this price is on the high end but I am still entertaining the offer. Is it a good deal or what? :screwy::naughty::grinno::drool:

Maybe she has brain damage and forgot that she paid 600 for it, not 6000.
Crazy!!

Is this a trick question or something? I figured it is with all the emoticons attached at the end of the question.

EXPENSIVE and overprice!

should cost around $1000 or less

Big Als here sell like 220G tank with light, stand (wood), canopy (wood) for like $2500 or $3200.. I dont remember, but its in that price range

No I am dead serious! I am excited about it because I have never had a tank this big. But the price is VERY HIGH. But if she did pay that much for it I am getting at a lot cheaper price then her.

Bottom line is don't get it from her. Just tell her the budget is short and that you can only afford $400 for the tank and stand. I believe that is the market price for used 125G but an unused but not new might fetch a little higher but definitely not 2000.

Cool! I was thinking about telling her if she drops it another $500.00 and let's me make $250.00 a month payments we could make a deal but after all of your feed back I think I will just keep checking Craigs list for a MUCH BETTER deal.

Must have bought gold substrat for it. I paid 350.00 for my 120 full set up. It's the one on my avatar btw.

Yea I have a cousin with the exact same tank (125g) that she is offering and I know it's not that big. My ultimiate goal is to get a 450g but I figured this would be another good addition if the price was right. But oh well thanks for all the input.
